Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox

I ordered Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox on Tuesday, and got it yesterday. I've started reading and I'm about 100 pages into it. The book is pretty much about Artemis trying to save his Mother with help from Holly and some other fairy creatures.

All of the books in the Artemis Fowl series build off of each other, so if you haven't read this series yet, you should probably read the first five to really understand who's who and what's going on.

There has been some talk about an Artemis Fowl movie coming out in 2008 or 2009. Since I haven't seen any commercials on it, it's probably going to be released in 2009 if not later. The first book, Artemis Fowl, is a good book to base the movie off of because those who haven't read the series would understand it, but maybe not; The plot in all the books are great but Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox seems like something movie worthy. It has a boy trying to save his mother, explosions, time travel, fairies and magic. What else could a movie need?
