Upgraded the site to Drupal 7. It's just different enough from 6 that I'm struggling through the settings, but I'll learn it soon enough.
I've disabled comments. It's just pointless to battle spam on a feature that's used so little.

Quick update, I moved all of my sites over to a VPS (Virtual Private Server.) Expect faster speeds and better uptime. If anything is messed up/not working, just let me know.

My site has been down for the past couple of days. What had happened was my webhost randomly disabled some php functions such as ini_set, which Drupal uses to run. While there may have been some ways round it, it pushed me over the edge.
I moved my website files and database over to my development server running Ubuntu 10.04. I just needed to wait until DNS updated, and started working on putting the site back up. At first things weren't working, and I just didn't have time to fix it. But it should all be working now. I lost a little bit of data, but nothing too bad. Read more about Website Back Online

(I posted this on their forum, but here it is again.)
I've been with cirtexhosting for two or three years, and maybe the only reason I haven't switched is because I've been busy. I've recommended clients in the past, but I no longer would recommend cirtexhosting services to anyone looking for "quality" web hosting.
Sure, there have been the usual hosting woes, downtime and maintenance, DDoS attacks, etc. That isn't what bothers me, since that happens at any web host. It's the lack of support and the overall lack of concern for my account and services. Read more about DO NOT Use CirtexHosting

So I did a virus scan on my mounted samba share, just to see if any Windows viruses made their way to it. Then I went back and looked at performance graphs etc, just thought I'd post them. Note the spikes in all the graphs on the far right
It's not as though this is a production server, so the averages for all the graphs are pretty low. Still I found it funny.. Read more about Sora Server Munin Graphs
